We’re going to the Bulk editor in the Tools
section of Yoast SEO. The Bulk editor allows you to change the title
and the description on pages in bulk, as it says. So you can change an SEO title for for instance
this post. I can change the SEO title to
“Hello world – this is SEO”. I could hit 'Save', and now the SEO title
for this specific post has been set. This is very useful if you have to go through
a lot of pages on a site that you’ve just taken over, or if you want to optimize things
a bit more. If you really want to optimize these pages,
I would suggest going into the individual posts and optimizing them there and using
all the feedback that Yoast SEO can give you on that page. This is really meant to bulk go through a
lot of these in a short time, so that you can quickly fix some things.
