Want to give you a website noticed and also found online by more people in this video. I'll break down all that you need to know and the easy steps you can take to make sure your website is ranked on search engines like Google. And also how you can actually take these steps to make sure your website gets know this by your ideal audiences are your prospective customers and also clients. Let's get to it. Welcome back to my channel. If you're new here, I'm Lori Wang. So if that sounds good, then make sure to hit that subscribe button and let's get connected.

Now let's get to how to get your website ranked and found by your ideal audiences online. Number one is that you want to use keywords that your customers and your clients are actually using. First, brainstorm the keywords by putting yourself in your ideal customer or client's shoes. What would they actually be searching for right now to find businesses like yours? And when you type these different keywords into search engines, let's say Google, there's actually going to be a dropdown box of all different suggested terms that Google suggests can recommend to you that are relevant and complementary to what you actually have search for.

So definitely note these down as well as some additional ideas for yourself. You can also move on to using free tools, let's say Google Keyword Planner, where you can type in some of these search terms and they'll actually break down the top search terms by which are the top volume search per month and also how competitive these terms are. Now, ideally, you want to go for the terms that have larger search volumes below competition. And what that means that you actually have a better chance of actually being shown on these search terms and having to compete with less competitors. Now there's a great page tool that I recommend if you have the budget for it to use Key W Finder.

And what it is, is that it actually tells you using their own calculations on the type of search terms are really easy to target. That allows you to actually show up on these search terms where there's greater opportunities to get lots of potential eyeballs in your business of not having to compete with too many other competitors. So very useful too. There is called KW Finder, a link to in the description below the video stuff. There are two ways that you want to incorporate these keywords into your website pages.

Now you want to include these keywords into your website in a very natural way. So for example, let's say in the copy of your blog posts or maybe in the copy of your website in general, but you definitely don't want to be stuffing keywords because that's actually now being penalized by search engines like Google, where essentially you actually lower your ranking and you also want to have these keywords in the title and description of your website pages is basically a way to tell a user in the search engine what your web pages about said. Number three is that you want to create relevant and in-depth content. So one of the things that really matters in your topic area is your topic expertize when it comes to being found online, basically, is the search engine way of thinking how much this website has a specific subject matter expertize in this topic area. And what that means is that you should create in-depth and relevant content that users will find useful not only as a great content strategy in any business, but also a great way to get found online as well.

The key to create great, valuable content all starts with knowing your audience, doing the research on who your ideal audiences are. Knowing your own niche is a great way to create laser targeted content that actually speaks out to your audiences, to their specific problems and challenges. Once your content is created, make sure that you're actually describing the keywords that your audiences are actually using in your titles and your description of the many tags on your websites. And also make sure that the website you are all reflects the similar keywords that you have in your search terms that you're targeting for as well.

For example, it should be your website dot com for slash keywords. Make sure your images are actually optimized on your website for the reader, and also ensuring that your whole entire page of content is actually easy to read and easy on the eye. The number four is actually making sure your website is mobile optimized now. So remember the old days when I was trying to buy a dress online on a major retailer, which I shall not be naming in the UK? And unfortunately, because the website wasn't optimized at the time for mobile, I was actually zooming in on this tiny little screen to find that payment button to buy the dress. And ultimately, after so many times I got fed up and I just gave up. And I think the key thing here to remember is that you want to make the website is easy to use as possible for the potential customer client so they can actually easily get in touch with you or buy your products.

And the mobile friendliness of a website contributes to a better user experience. And better user experiences are actually what Google and other search engines are aiming for. So essentially the better user experience you can give to your potential website visitors, the better chance that you actually rank higher than your competitors. And especially important now as mobile searches accounts for more than half of all searches on the entire Internet.

But the good thing is we're currently using a website builder, let's say Wix, Squarespace or WordPress. Then you already have a mobile optimized version built in having. US versus an htp in front of your website. Your alt does matter when it comes to how your website are ranked online. Having the https means that your website is secure. You can simply check this by looking at the address bar of your website. Does it currently show a little lock that's actually currently locked icon and does it actually have a HTP s next to it? If you currently have that, then your connection on the website is secure. If it doesn't, then the website is actually vulnerable to attack. And you can easily remedy this by asking your website hosting provider to install an SSL certificate on your website. Now, Google as a search engine actually has said that having us on your website is a ranking factor when it comes to ranking websites under keywords.

So it's definitely worthwhile having a install if you currently don't have one. I always find the video helpful in getting your website found online by your ideal customers and clients.
