SaaS SEO Case Study: 0 To 145,000 Visitors P/Month!
– What's up guys. So, in this video. I'm gonna teach you how I took one of my client's websites, from zero to over 145,000, visitors per month, with SEO, link building. So, if you wanna get more traffic. If you wanna increase your rankings. If you want to see

So, the first thing is with this website, they literally started from zero. Okay. So, there are no traffic, no authority, no backlinks to their website. And they were kind of in a position, where you just didn't really have that many momentum, yet.
They, they hadn't really got going. So, the first thing we did, was start building links
with something called, HARO. And if you're not familiar with HARO? HARO is helpareporter.com. And this is basically a website, where journalists posts
all the opportunities that you can pitch to, to get your website featured on this. Right? So, for example, forbes.com may posts on there and the say, "hey, we're looking for experts to talk about the best software in the legal industry." And then you can reply to that pitch. And if you convince a journalist to feature you, you'll be featured and get back on to your site.
In fact, one of the links that we got for our clients, from HARO, was a Forbes.com link. Normally, they go for like a $1000 or $2,000 a pop. We got it for free with HARO. So, that shows you just how powerful this platform is. And the great thing about HARO, is that you're getting backlinks from real websites that have genuine journalists
around the content. The content is super high quality. And when you get links from HARO? These are very safe links, you know, you're not buying links from PBN's. You're not buying paid links. You're not doing anything remotely dodgy. You're just building
links on real websites that want to feature you, because you're an expert on what you're talking about. So, HARO is such a powerful platform, right now. However, what I will say, is that it's very competitive too. And you really need to optimize your pitches on HARO, if you want to get backlinks from it.
So, what do I mean by this? Well, when you send pictures for example, when we send pictures for this website. We made them short, concise, straight to the point. And we always led with an interest in perspective. And when you do that, and you put that all together. And you send maybe five, or ten queries, daily for HARO, you will get back links. The links will add up. And, you know, you're just gonna see better and better results with it. Now, to give you some ideas on just how far you can take this with HARO link building. You know, we were getting backlinks from DA 80, DA 90 backlinks, on a regular basis. Often the DA 70 links. And this literally
Skyrocketed the websites DA. In fact, they went from like zero to, to domain rates in 58, in a very short space of time. Now, people often worry that if you build too many backlinks, and if your domain rating
goes up too quickly, it can be kind of risky. And you could be risking a Google penalty. But as you can see, for this particular client. The type of backlinks we built was so high quality, that Google just rewards
the site, even more.
I mean, it's gone from zero to 145,000, visitors per month, now. But that's actually just increasing. And I wouldn't be
surprised if that doubles or triples over the following 12 months. So, you can see the sort of ROI you get, with link building. And the thing is, this is one of the
biggest things we learned from this particular case-study. Is the fact that as soon as we start building links, that's when the traffic starts increasing. Okay? You can't just publish content and pray that it's gonna run all good.
You really have to focus on getting links to your site. In fact, if you type in any sort of search term into Google, these days. You'll see that you can't
rank, without backlinks. I mean, occasionally it can if it's a super low competition keyword. But 90, 95% of the time, it's not. And you gonna have people building links. And if you don't build links, you can buy, as well. So, you really needs to nail this aspect if you want to see results with link building. For example, you can
see a direct correlation between the links that
we started building, and the traffic for this website. I mean, it was almost instantaneous. As soon as we got links for this site, the backlinks increased too. Now, you may be thinking,
okay, that's great.
You build links for the site. Is traffic increased? Well done. But is this really gonna
work for my site too? Well, the thing is the
client actually hired us for two of the other websites, as soon she saw the
results for this site too. So, when we started building
links for signaturely. We also started building
links for apple.com, and messaging too, two of the other brands in the business. And the same sort of results occurred.
As soon as you started building links. The traffic Skyrocketed. They got some awesome links. You know, some from Forbes, for example. And there was just a direct
correlation every time between the links we built, and the results they got. So, seriously, HARO Link building, is one of my favorite
link builder strategies out there, right now. You know, when it comes to link building, you have dozens of choices, right? You can build links at Forums. You could build links at Reddit. You could get crappy
links from Directories, for example. But those techniques don't seem to work. You really have to focus on quality. And when I say quality. I would say my top three
link building strategies, right now, are HARO, Video Outreach- Check out my videos if
you don't know about that. and also, The Skyscraper Technique. The Skyscraper Technique is tried, tested and proven. But I've a HARO video outreach, or The Skyscraper Technique, are three options that you can easily use for your website. And if you wanna get results fast? That's the way we do at our agency. So, I'd highly recommend it to you too.
Now, what I would say is
that SEO, is very simple. It's pretty much the same
formula every single time. You know, it's kinda like baking a cake. Correct? If you have the right ingredients, and use those ingredients, every time, at the highest quality possible you can. Then you're gonna see awesome results. You're gonna bake an awesome cake. Either way, you're
going to get the results you're looking for. So, with SEO, you have to get backlinks but you also have to focus on other elements of your site too. So, backlinks are great. But if you wanna maximize your results of Link building, then you should also be producing content. You should be targeting
low competition keywords. You should be nailing your on-page SEO. And the great thing about
working with this client is that they were also producing some awesome content too. So, if you check out their site, you know, the user interface is on point. The designer is on point. The branding is on point, and they also produce
some awesome content.
And when you have all of
these elements in combination, and they working as a system together. That's when you see huge
results just like this. So, I would recommend getting backlinks. You know, that's DA 80, 20 0rule. You're gonna get 80% of the results, with 20% of the work. But also make sure that you're producing plenty of content. Make sure that you're
optimizing your keywords. Make sure that you're really focusing on conversimilary optimization. So that when people jump on your website, they don't just pogo stick off, back to Google. But they actually stick around, read your content, engage with it, and eventually convert
from a lead into a sale. The other thing that I would say with this particular client, was that they were consistent over time.
So, month one, they got some results. Month two, they got better results. Monthly three, their
traffic was really pumped in and it was growing at a quick rate. But the thing is over time, exponentially, the increases in traffic, just got larger and larger each month. And this is the thing
you have to really think about link bulding and SEO, as the snowball effect. What I mean by this is, is as you do more and more work, and the snowball rolls down the hill. It's just gonna gather up more momentum. Is gonna get bigger, and your traffic will gradually increase more and more.
So, you have to be consistent
with Link building. Even if you don't see results
within the first 30 days, or the first couple of months. That doesn't matter. Focus on being consistent, give it time. Be patient, and you will see your
rankings increase gradually. It's just not an overnight job because we've Googled. They have to trust your website, especially, if you're a new site. You have to build up authority and you have to do that consistently. Otherwise, if it was easy, Google would just rank
every website number one. And that would happen overnight, and then Google's rankings wouldn't really be very efficient, or very helpful for the user.
So, that's why it's so
